SpeechSync AAC

Voice your world

Built with a clinical partner in Dubai for children who use AAC.

SpeechSync is an AAC app for iOS and Android: boards, language games, emergency alerts, and voice commands so children with autism and their caregivers can communicate with less friction.

SpeechSync is an AAC app we built for a client in Dubai, focused on children with autism who need clearer ways to express needs, feelings, and choices.

Boards, games, folders, and safety tools sit in one cross-platform app so therapists, parents, and schools can keep vocabulary organized without fighting the UI.

Why SpeechSync

Communication tools families actually open

  • Interactive AAC board

Symbols, folders, and spoken output tuned for daily routines at home and school.

  • Gamified practice

Short activities that reward attempts and keep sessions from feeling clinical.

  • Backup and restore

Export and restore vocabulary so device changes do not wipe progress.

  • Gestalt language processing

Support for GLP-style strategies so teams can match how a child already uses language.

  • Emergency alarm

Caregivers get notified quickly when a child triggers the safety control.

Voice commands

Hands-free folder and word management

Speak to add folders or vocabulary when tapping is slow or tiring.

  • Create by voice

Example: "Create a new folder named Animals" to sort boards without hunting through menus.

  • Add words by voice

Example: "Add the word Dog to the Animals folder" to grow vocabulary during a session.
